To make honey roasted nuts, you will need:
- 2 cups of mixed nuts (such as almonds, cashews, pecans, and walnuts)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and honey together until smooth.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed nuts with the melted honey-butter mixture, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Stir well to coat the nuts evenly.
Spread the nuts out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Roast the nuts in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and fragrant.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the nuts cool on the pan for 5 minutes.
Transfer the nuts to a serving bowl or an airtight container and let them cool completely.
Your honey roasted nuts are ready to enjoy as a snack or use as a topping for salads, yogurt, or oatmeal.
